In the episode the Heiress the Frog Lady reaches her destination and reunites with her husband. Next he lets Mando know how he can locate other Mandalorian. So while workers try to to make his ship able to fly again, he takes to an ocean vessel to head to the location told to him.
However, the trip does not go as he expects it to. A member of the Quarren crew kicks the Child into the ocean while the other crew members try to drown Mando so they can steel his armor.
Luckily other Mandalorians fly to his rescue and save both Mando and the Child’s life. However, Mando’s happiness at meeting others of his kind does not last. When he sees them remove their helmets, Mando wonders if they are like Cobb Vanth so he demands to know how long the other Mandalorians have had their armor.
The leader of the group Bo-Katan informs him the armor she wears has been in her family for generations and not all factions of Mandalorians are the same. In fact, she tells Mando the one he belongs to are religious zealots.
As much as this stings his feelings, Mando pushes it aside to continue his goal to take the Child to his people. But before he can gain more information from Bo-Katan and the others, Mando must help them take an Imperial ship including all its contents.
The episode is enjoyable and I look forward to the show exploring the impact of what Bo-Katan told Mando. Will he feel lost? Angry? In denial? Will he be able to continue his mission to find the Child’s home or alter his plans?
